Are you in this vicious cycle?

People typically think that going on a diet is restriction, eating nasty tasting diet foods and over exercising for hours in the gym. But I’m here to tell you that is not what worked for me. 

😰 Restriction did not work for me. I’d be angry and hungry all the time and then want all the things I COULDN’T have. 😡 I would get to the point that I would binge on alllll of the alcohol, chips, pizza. I just couldn’t take it anymore. 

😰 Calorie counting did not work for me. I became totally obsessed with everything I was putting in my mouth. And writing it down was time consuming. It was not sustainable for me for life. I was over analyzing every gram of carbs and protein and fat. Then I would beat myself up emotionally if I didn’t have the right percentages. 

😰 Focusing on my weight on the scale did not work for me. I had a number in my head that I THOUGHT it should be and when it was not that number I would be super depressed and would (again) beat the crap out of myself in my mind. 

😰 I taught 5 to 6 high intensity dance classes per week and was STILL not healthy. Still not energized and wasn’t feeling my best. 

😀 Nutrition is THE KEY. Doing my 30 min workout at home is how I got serious results. And SUPPORT IS how I sustained.

Here was a pic I took on Saturday. I have never worn white pants before in my life. First time feeling confident doing that. I felt amazing.
