Rest day today and that completes week 6! Feeling really good…. tomorrow is official weight, pics and measurements day. I am excited but, of course, I got my period yesterday so my numbers might be totally whack tomorrow.
The cool thing about eating this way is that the symptoms of getting my period aren’t nearly as bad as they used to be. I used to get really bloated along with swollen and tender breasts. Like bad. Now I don’t get that anymore. I attribute this ALL to food.
My hunger level today was way down. I chowed down a huge veggie omelet (no cheese) with a side of bacon, had my shake, butternut squash, homemade tomato soup and a little chicken.
I got a good sleep in last night (with a little help from unisom). Close to 10 hours. I am really trying to ween myself off the OTC sleeping pills. I have struggled with sleep for so long and taking that pill makes me sleep through the night like a baby. I know it’s not good for me though. When I don’t take it I’m up until 230 or 300 in the morning. It’s awful.
I’m ready to get back to the grind tomorrow. My teammates are ready too. Thank goodness for their support.
